Registered Nurse Float - Critical Care

Float Registered Nurse - Critical Care with Neuro-focused responsibilities. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition, developing and documenting a Plan of Care, coordinating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, and providing supervision to non-RN staff. Demonstrates competency in neuro care such as neuro assessment, airway management of neuro patients, tracheostomy suctioning, and care for ventilated patients. Functions as a preceptor and charge nurse, supports performance expectations in customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff development. BSN preferred; CT RN license required; 1 year NICU RN experience required; BLS required.
