Job Summary
Coordinate patient care, perform physical assessments, and provide direct nursing services to active-duty service members and eligible beneficiaries. Conduct telehealth nursing, facilitate preventive-health services, and support health-promotion activities including immunization counseling. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with military clinical guidelines while maintaining accurate documentation. Assist with walk-in appointments and manage pre-screening laboratory coordination. This role offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements. You will work eight hours daily between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM at Holloman Air Force Base.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of a nursing program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience after graduation
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or willing to obtain
- Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the previous two (2) years
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- No weekend, on-call, or callback requirements
