Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility policies. Directs and manages the care of designated patients, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team, and communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff. Applies ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics; participates in evidence-based practice and quality/safety initiatives; coordinates patient and family education; mentors new colleagues and interns; delegates based on team skills and patient needs; utilizes technology to optimize care delivery and supports unit and hospital goals. Night shift, on-site role at Lehigh Valley Hospital campuses; LVHN emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and excellence in patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Nursing program
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - Pennsylvania
- Upon Hire eligibility to practice as RN in Pennsylvania
