Job Summary
RNFA and Clinic Supervisor oversees perioperative nursing duties and provides direct supervision of Medical Assistants and clinic staff at the Estero and Naples locations. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing and workflow to ensure efficient clinic operations and patient coverage; monitoring performance and adherence to policies; assisting with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations; promoting a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment; ensuring OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, safety regulations, and clinical protocols are followed; collaborating with physicians and leadership to improve patient flow, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction; monitoring clinical supply inventory and assisting with ordering; supporting implementation of organizational initiatives; scheduling coordination and managing clinic operational needs; maintaining high-quality patient care across both locations; and serving as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and administration. The role requires graduates of accredited nursing programs, Florida RN/APRN licensure, RNFA certification, a minimum of two years perioperative nursing experience (scrub and circulating), BLS certification, and strong leadership and EMR/computer skills. Remote work is not indicated; on-site presence is required in Naples and Estero, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida
- Successful completion of a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) course approved by a Florida Board of Nursing provider
- Minimum of two (2) years of perioperative nursing experience, including demonstrated proficiency as both a scrub and circulating nurse
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical or ambulatory setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practice and the nursing process
- Ability to lead teams, manage workflow, and effectively resolve conflicts
- Intermediate computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
