Job Summary
Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in the Memorial Hospital Belleville Perioperative Services. Functions as an expanded perioperative team member providing intraoperative patient care as the first assistant to surgeons during surgical procedures in the operating room; collaborates with the surgeon and perioperative team; pre-operative nursing assessment and planning; monitors patient progress and administers medications; supports quality and safety in perioperative care; requires RN license and 2-5 years perioperative experience; CNOR and BSN are preferred. On-site, full-time days with call requirements in Belleville, IL. Eligible for benefits and sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for externals.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- 2-5 years perioperative experience
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's
- CNOR certification (preferred)
- BSN degree (preferred)
- Certified First Assistant (preferred)
