Job Summary
Assist the surgeon in performing safe operations with optimal patient results through peri-operative nursing behaviors, including intra-operative assessment and post-operative care evaluation. Conduct independent nursing functions within the surgery team while adhering to strict certification requirements, including a valid RN license, BLS, and CNOR certification for new hires. Complete an RNFA program or hold equivalent CSTFA certification with two years of OR experience. Work full-time days at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL, for a pay range of $42.00 to $63.00 per hour, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus available. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
- Successful completion of an RNFA program
- Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist (CSTFA) certification AND at least 2 years of OR experience as a first assist
