Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) - Operating Room - Per Diem - Shift

RNFA in the operating room employed per diem to support perioperative care under the direct supervision of the surgeon. Responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning, prepping and draping, controlling bleeding with instruments and sutures, tissue handling, wound closure, maintaining exposure with instruments and retractors, preparing and coordinating perioperative nursing actions, patient assessment, and circulating or scrubbing as needed. Requires CA RN licensure, CNOR, and structured OR first-assist training; CRNFA preferred. Four shifts within each six-week scheduling period; compensation range reported as an hourly rate with potential differentials/incentives. Bakersfield, CA location; per diem engagement.
