Job Summary
Registered Nurse First Assist role focused on perioperative patient care. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers. Requires professional accountability for patient care, adherence to Mercy Service Standards, and alignment with Mercy mission and values. Preferred CNOR and/or RN-First Assistant certification. Must have active RN license and a minimum of 1 year perioperative nursing experience; BLS/ACLS within first year. Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year perioperative nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS required within first year
