Registered Nurse - Family Birth Place

Registered Nurse (RN) in Family Birth Place at Rochester Regional Health provides high-quality, patient-centered clinical care. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessment, documenting assessments with the interdisciplinary team, developing and documenting plans of care, ensuring policy compliance, updating documentation, completing a clinical research utilization (CRU) form with a recent US-based article, and maintaining continuing education hours (minimum 5 nationally approved CNE/CEU per year). Requires BLS certification and NY RN license; diploma or associate’s degree in nursing. Preferred BSN and at least 6 months of experience. Unit serves obstetric and gynecologic populations with a Level I nursery, 14 labor rooms, 7 surgical beds, 3 triage rooms and 2 operating rooms.
