Job Summary
Under general supervision, provide professional nursing care to patients in hospitals, emergency settings, clinics, and other SFDPH institutions. Observe and report patient symptoms, take vital signs, and implement medical and nursing care plans. Set up treatment trays, prepare instruments, and assist in administering highly specialized therapy while maintaining unit activities and patient records. Direct and supervise auxiliary personnel as needed to ensure patient comfort and sanitation standards. Follow all regulations, policies, and procedures for nursing care.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid permanent/temporary (including interim permit) California Registered Nurse License
- License status must be Current according to search.dca.ca.gov
- At least one (1) year of experience working as a Registered Nurse
- One-year fulltime employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours
