Job Summary
Registered Nurse in a primary care facility provides patient-focused care, facilitates continuity of care with the healthcare team, administers medications and injections, renders immunizations, provides patient education on therapies, assists with rooming patients, and supports team with clinic duties while utilizing electronic charting (Medent) and Clear Triage.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State (RN)
- BLS/CPR certification
- One (1) year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Experience with HIV/AIDS or other infectious disease practice preferred
- Phlebotomy skills preferred
- Familiarity with electronic charting system (Medent preferred)
- Communication skills in writing and verbally
- Cultural diversity sensitivity
