Job Summary
Provide direct primary nursing care to patients, including physical assessments, wound care, and medication administration. Supervise and direct licensed nurses and nursing assistants while making daily rounds to observe and assess patient conditions. Serve as House Supervisor in the absence of senior leadership, manage complaint follow-ups, and ensure accurate nursing documentation. Promote effective relationships with physicians, lab, pharmacy, and patients to ensure safe care delivery. Participate in quality improvement programs and patient admission/discharge processes. Requires current Virginia RN license, CPR certification, and two years of medical-surgical experience. Shift runs 11pm to 7am.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
- Must be able to move 150 pounds with assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of medical-surgical experience as a RN, preferred
