Registered Nurse ER

Registered Nurse (ER) role providing patient-centered care across emergency department spectrum. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering care per nursing process, administering medications, conducting comprehensive assessments, monitoring patients, assisting physicians during procedures, and collaborating with the care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans. Emphasizes patient safety, infection control, documentation, and ongoing professional development across multiple ER specialties (e.g., Critical Care RN, OR Services RN, Cardiac Surgery RN, NICU RN, Telemetry RN, Dialysis RN, Cath Lab RN). Requires ability to respond to emergencies, perform life-saving interventions when needed, and educate patients and families on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care. Licensure as an RN and basic life support are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
