Job Summary
Assess patient needs and plan care addressing spiritual, emotional, physiological, and psychosocial requirements, documenting responses in the patient record. Evaluate and implement nursing care for emergency patients, ensuring compliance with unit-specific competencies. Maintain current Texas RN licensure, CPR, ACLS, PALS, and CEN certification as required. This part-time role involves two 2pm-2am shifts weekly at Peterson Health, a Top 20 rural community hospital recognized for compassionate, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge and ability to perform the skills necessary for the unit specific competencies
- Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- CPR
- ACLS
- PALS
- Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to Emergency patients
Desired Qualifications
- TNCC
- ENPC
- CEN
- 1 year ED experience
