Registered Nurse, ER

Assess patients on admission per hospital policies and unit standards. Administer therapeutic injections, venipuncture, IV therapies, blood pressure checks, inhalation therapy, catheterization, and dressing changes within the scope of practice. Communicate pertinent patient and unit information to medical providers, house supervisors, and other appropriate persons while maintaining confidentiality. Work closely with an EMT or CNA each shift with support from neighboring unit nurses. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, plus two years of ER experience. Full-time day shift rotation with three 12-hour shifts weekly and rotating weekends.
