Job Summary
The Registered Nurse ER coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department, assessing pain and reassessing after interventions, performing procedures and documenting care, and proactively addressing patient needs. The RN educators patients/families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, follow-up measures, and healthy lifestyle changes, while collaborating with medical providers and the care team to support exceptional clinical outcomes and a positive patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
