Job Summary
Plan, organize, and administer patient care within the ER, collaborating with professional disciplines to ensure effective delivery and desired outcomes. Analyze comprehensive information to determine nursing diagnoses, evaluate patient progress toward goals, and apply appropriate interventions. Utilize the nursing process to promote health and maintain a safe environment while managing multiple assignments simultaneously. Conduct primary care patient interviews, assess home safety, and perform physical assessments for home care patients. Provide patient education, anticipate resource needs, and schedule activities to meet deadlines. Search for nutrition evidence to answer clinical questions and follow up to resolve issues. Work full-time nights (6:45p-6:45a) with an increased differential of $10/hour in a fast-paced environment treating 170-210 patients daily.
Required Qualifications
- LIC-Registered Nurse
- Licensure
- Relevant Work Experience
- Less than 1 year
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
- Full-time (36 hours/week)

- Possesses ample fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to assess and evaluate patients in practical applications of moderate difficulty in the home setting
- Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency in providing patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty
- Demonstrates ability to anticipate resource needs, identify distinct tasks, set priorities, schedule activities, meet deadlines, and organize work within areas of direct responsibility
- Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully search for nutrition evidence to answer clinical questions
