Registered Nurse

Provide nursing care for a designated patient group using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation). Collaborate with physicians and health-team members to coordinate procedures and treatments; lead and delegate activities of the patient care unit team. Conduct patient interviews, assess multiple health domains (GI, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, neurological), determine mobility and skin condition, manage pain, document plans of care, educate patients and families, and plan for discharge. Demonstrates leadership, clinical judgment, and effective communication to ensure safe, compassionate, evidence-based care and ongoing quality improvement.
