Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab provides assessments, develops and evaluates plans of care, and supervises care delivered by non-licensed personnel. Responsibilities include patient assessments pre, peri, and post-procedure, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to revise care plans, maintaining an aseptic EP Lab environment, administering medications as ordered, ensuring supplies and equipment are available, confirming physician-documented H&P prior to procedures, coordinating post-procedure handoff reports, coordinating emergency response with the team, and facilitating discharge planning in collaboration with the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
