Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the EP Lab, implementing and monitoring patient care plans while noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate in accordance with established policies and protocols. Requires BLS certification within 30 days of hire and a Tennessee Board of Nursing credential or multi-state license.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing
- Current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
