Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in ENT, provide patient support and communication to ensure a positive patient experience. Demonstrate kindness and compassion in all patient interactions; prepare and administer PO/IM/ID medications; perform point-of-care tests and EKGs; conduct phlebotomy and process specimens; document vital signs, histories, screenings, and medication/diet instructions; assist with sutures/staple removal and dressing changes; prepare patients, rooms, and supplies for visits; authorize prescriptions as directed; maintain cleanliness and quality checks of treatment rooms and equipment; collaborate with providers and the care team to deliver high-quality, value-based care. Required duties include medication administration, patient education, and adherence to safety protocols. Skills include strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach. Experience: current RN license; 1 year of experience preferred; Spanish speaking preferred. Location: Florham Park, NJ; Schedule: FULL_TIME; Healthcare setting: primary care/family practice/urgent care/ER experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Phlebotomy experience required
- High School Diploma/Equivalency
- Current BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment
