REGISTERED NURSE, Endoscopy Unit, Part Time

Assess cardio-respiratory systems for changes in infant to geriatric patients and treat appropriately. Monitor, position, and assist patients during endoscopy procedures while communicating continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists. Prep and drape patients correctly, maintain medical and surgical asepsis, and ensure all operating team needs are met. Fully responsible for endoscope and instrument care, including cleaning and processing reusable scopes in partnership with endoscopy tech. Participate in performance improvement activities and assess procedure rooms for equipment readiness and supplies. Work part-time day shift at Sierra Medical Center, a 170-bed acute care hospital within Northern Nevada Health System.
