Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy with PRN Days provides perioperative endoscopy patient care, performs comprehensive assessments, plans and evaluates patient care with collaboration from the team, administers medications and solutions safely, documents accurately and timely, supports education and emotional needs of patient and family, and floats to other surgical service areas as needed; requires nursing diploma/degree and Tennessee RN licensure, BLS (within 90 days) and ACLS (within 6 months), on-call within 30 minutes.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the state of Tennessee
- Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements
- One year experience in medical/surgical nursing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Peri operative Care
- Ability to stand/work for up to twelve hours a day
- Floats to other surgical service areas as necessary to staff
- General equipment familiarity (Meditech Order Entry, Omnicell, Pneumatic Tube System)
