Job Summary
Plans, implements, and evaluates care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in a timely and accurate manner. Performs comprehensive patient assessments, plans individualized care, coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, provides emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families, administers medications safely, documents timely, and floats to other surgical service areas as needed. Requires nursing licensure in Tennessee, a nursing diploma or degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications; prior perioperative or endoscopy experience highly valued. Part-time day shift with benefits eligibility in Franklin, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- Licensed in the state of Tennessee.
- Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements.
- One year experience in medical/surgical nursing.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
