Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Endoscopy in the Mercy system providing patient-centered care in the Endoscopy unit. Utilizes the nursing process to assess and plan care, coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and ensures care is delivered in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Requires active RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact licensure, and BLS certification either at hire or within 30 days. Education can be ADN, Diploma, or BSN. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
