Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients in the endoscopy unit by assessing conditions, recognizing deviations, planning care, and monitoring progress. Delegate tasks to staff and function as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Requires current Illinois RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification, with PALS within ninety days. Associate degree in nursing or higher is required, with BSN needed within five years. Previous endoscopy experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexible start times. Hourly pay ranges from $36.00 to $55.80 based on expertise and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
