Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while directing and coordinating nursing services in the Endoscopy Unit's 12 bays and 3 procedure rooms. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving to differentiate urgency, collaborate with professional disciplines, and ensure effective patient outcomes in alignment with the American Nursing Association and Florida Nurse Practice Act. Apply knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity to provide quality care, supported by a strong team culture focused on exceptional patient care and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- At least two (2) years of recent Endoscopy, Surgical Services or ICU experience
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date
- Currently licensed in the State of Florida
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (preferred over Associates)
