Job Summary
Assess critical situations to support, monitor, and treat patients in emergency and critical care settings while utilizing critical thinking to manage adult or pediatric patients. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment through regular equipment checks and base inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and briefings. Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, and facilities to coordinate scene call work and patient transport, while sharing shift change information and maintaining accurate regulatory documentation. Accountable for required certifications and ongoing training, including obtaining CFRN within 24 months. Two 24-hour shifts per week with company-paid crew housing available for those relocating more than 50 miles from Klamath Falls, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
- EMT Certification
- Trauma Certification in state(s) where required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) certification within 24 months from date of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Live within 50 miles of Klamath Falls, OR
- Be willing to relocate
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
