Job Summary
Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner for patients in the Emergency Room. Requires a nursing diploma/degree and Tennessee licensure; certifications such as BLS, ACLS (and other unit-specific requirements) within specified timeframes. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, patient education, collaboration with healthcare team, safe medication administration, and maintaining professional standards. Experience in adult and pediatric emergency care is referenced with preferred certifications (TNCC, PALS, ENPC/TNCC, NVCI, AACN CCRN CCP) depending on unit assignment; various units list preferred/required certifications and experience.
