Job Summary
Per diem Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room providing safe, effective nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit. Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care; guide and direct assigned unlicensed personnel; communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care; contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/ ACLS/PALS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required. Must maintain an active NIHSS certification
- Experience: A minimum two year of recent acute care clinical experience in the Emergency Department. Telemetry competence required. Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test.
