Job Summary
Per Diem RN in the Emergency Room providing safe, effective nursing care across Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, and Skokie. Responsibilities include independent patient care delivery, applying the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, supervising assigned unlicensed personnel, collaborating with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and contributing to safety and quality of patient experience. Requires IL RN licensure, NLN-accredited nursing education (BSN strongly preferred), BLS/ACLS/PALS (NIHSS active), and at least two years of recent acute ED experience with telemetry competence. Night shift with per diem schedule, offering premium and incentive pay opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/ ACLS/PALS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required. Must maintain an active NIHSS certification
- Experience: A minimum two year of recent acute care clinical experience in the Emergency Department. Telemetry competence required. Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test.
