Job Summary
Provide emergency nursing care in an expanded ER with 50 rooms and 3:1 staffing ratios on high acuity patients. Manage complex orthopedic, burn, and neurosurgery transfers while maintaining 4:1 ratios as needed. Perform physical duties including lifting 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and bending to meet patient needs. Maintain current RN licensure and obtain required certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and unit-specific modules within the department timeframe. Work nights with no call, utilizing the $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- 1 Year ER experience preferred
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
