Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Emergency Room at Mission Hospital (Aspiring to contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team). Responsibilities include coordinating care, performing and documenting nursing procedures, teaching patients and families about conditions and follow-up, advocating for patients, and supporting clinical outcomes. Requires ongoing certifications and trainings (ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, TNCC/Trauma Nursing Core Course) with specific timelines post-employment; sign-on bonus offered with a 2-year commitment. Located in Brevard, NC with in-person duties at the facility.
Required Qualifications
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor, or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
