Job Summary
ER Registered Nurse role providing high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. Responsibilities include coordinating with EMS, assessing and managing patient pain, performing procedures ordered by providers, documenting care in the medical record, educating patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and follow-up, and ensuring smooth operations within a Level II Trauma ER. Requires Colorado RN license (or multistate), ACLS/BLS within specified timeframes, NVI within 30 days, PALS within 30 days, and TNCC within 60 months. In this ER setting, you’ll work closely with EMS, deliver age-appropriate care, and align with organizational standards and care models while pursuing ongoing clinical education.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or multistate license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
