Registered Nurse - Emergency Room - Full Time Nights

Job Summary
Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner for patients in the Emergency Department. The RN must be licensed in Tennessee and hold or obtain required certifications (BLS within 90 days; ACLS/PALS/TNCC/ENPC/NVCI as unit-specific). Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, planning individualized care, patient teaching, safe medication administration, and accurate documentation, with experience in adult and pediatric emergency care; position supports various ED patient populations and units (Telemetry, Critical Care, Oncology, Pediatric ED) with flexible unit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- NVCI certification within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- TNCC Preferred (for Adult Emergency Room) or ENPC/TNCC within 6 months of hire (for Pediatric Emergency Room)
- At least one year of emergency experience preferred (Adult or Pediatric Emergency)
- Oncology chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year of hire (where applicable)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (for telemetry/ICU units)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (for pediatric units)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (for critical care)
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- AACN/CCRN/CCP certification within two years of hire (for Critical Care)
