Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room position at Williamson Health in Antioch, TN. Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner for adult and pediatric emergency patients. Requires Tennessee RN licensure and completion of BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 6 months for ER and related units; PALS within 6 months for pediatric ER; NVCI certification within 6 months; additional certifications (TNCC, ENPC/TNCC, CCRN, CCRN or CCP) depending on unit. Roles encompass comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, education for patients and families, documentation, and ensuring safe medication administration. Minimum duties expand across Adult Emergency, Pediatric Emergency, Critical Care, and Oncology functions with varied unit requirements; 12-hour night shifts and ability to work under pressure are implied by the unit expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months (for various units)
- NVCI certification within 6 months (for various units)
- TNCC/PALS/ENPC within 6 months (as applicable)
- Oncology certification within one year (for Oncology)
- At least one year of emergency/pediatric emergency experience preferred
