Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and medical record review. Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes while developing and implementing plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate competency in therapeutic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collections. Maintain confidential patient charts and document status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely using information technology. Provide patient and family education based on learning readiness and evaluate teaching effectiveness. Promote and advocate for patient health, safety, and rights. Requires one year of recent RN ED experience, active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and certifications in ENPC, PALS, NIHSS, NRP, and TNCC. PRN shifts available; ability to work nights or mids required.
