Job Summary
Registered Nurse — Emergency Room (1p–12:30a). Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in an efficient, timely manner across adult and pediatric emergency services. Requires Tennessee nursing license, nursing diploma/degree, and relevant certifications (BLS; ACLS; PALS; TNCC/ENPC; NVCI). Additional unit-specific requirements include pediatric emergency, oncology chemo/immunotherapy certification, and critical-care certifications as applicable. Shift supports a high-acuity ER environment with telemetry, medication administration, and comprehensive patient care delivery. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, patient and family education, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability to work under pressure, handle equipment such as Telemetry and Omnicell, and maintain professional standards and safety. Location: Rockvale, TN (Rockvale community, Williamson Health system).
Required Qualifications
- Formal Education / Training: Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (various units).
- NVCI certification within 6 months of hire (where applicable).
- TNCC/PALS within 6 months of hire (depending on unit).
- Oncology chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year of hire (for Oncology).
- PALS within 6 months of hire (Pediatric ER and related units).
- ENPC or TNCC within 6 months of hire (Pediatric ER).
- One year of emergency experience preferred (Adult ER or Pediatric ER).
