Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) for Emergency Department in Winkler. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process across acute, transitional, personal care home, primary health care, public health-healthy living, and/or home care settings; maintaining competency per professional standards and RHPA; exercising initiative to set priorities and methods; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams; leading and making autonomous decisions; strong organizational and communication skills; commitment to culturally diverse populations; bilingual (English/French) proficiency required for designated positions; willingness to travel within the region as duties require.
Required Qualifications
- Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
