Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in the 24/7 Emergency Department, performing head-to-toe assessments on pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. Utilize triage processes to assign categories and monitor hemodynamic status while accurately assessing and managing pain. Coordinate care planning with physicians regarding patient status changes and diagnostic results, adjusting nursing processes to ensure optimal outcomes. Respond quickly to condition changes and treat emergent conditions including trauma and acute pain. Full-time night shift schedule at 36 hours per week with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Current NV RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Two to three years exp in the emergency department preferred
- Two to three years critical Care Exp
- extensive EMS background experience
