Job Summary
Conduct head-to-toe assessments and triage patients across pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations in the 24/7 Emergency Department. Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret diagnostic results from CT, X-ray, and ultrasound services, and manage acute pain using appropriate techniques. Coordinate care planning with physicians regarding patient status changes and diagnostic study outcomes while adjusting nursing processes to ensure optimal care. Respond quickly to condition changes and treat trauma, lacerations, acute pain, and life-threatening emergent conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Current NV RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Two to three years exp in the emergency department preferred
- Two to three years critical Care Exp
- extensive EMS background experience
