Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, evaluating outcomes and adjusting nursing processes to ensure optimal care for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. Perform head-to-toe assessments, monitor hemodynamic status, and accurately assign triage categories using the facility's triage process. Determine care priorities based on physical and psychosocial needs, communicate status changes to physicians, and respond quickly to condition changes or treatment responses. Manage pain assessment and education for patients and families. Full-time nightshift schedule of 36 hours per week with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Current NV RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Two to three years exp in the emergency department preferred
- Two to three years critical Care Exp
- extensive EMS background experience
