REGISTERED NURSE, Emergency Dept, Per Diem Varied Shifts

Provide direct and indirect patient care, conduct head-to-toe assessments for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations, and utilize triage processes to assign categories accurately. Evaluate patient outcomes, consult with specialists as required, and adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal results. Assess and manage pain using appropriate techniques while educating patients and families, and communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical conditions. Respond quickly and accurately to shifts in patient status or treatment response. Perform general nursing duties across all departments with adequate supervision and float to all units. Requires current NV nursing license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certificates, plus 2.5 years of ER experience.
