Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department, performing head-to-toe assessments and managing pain for pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general populations. Utilize triage processes to ensure timely care, consult with specialists, and adjust nursing care processes to optimize outcomes. Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and communicate updates to physicians and the nursing management team. This dual-function role includes participation in staff hiring. Requires two years of emergency department experience and current RN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years ED experience
- Current RN license within the state of practice
- Current BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire
- PALS within six (6) months of hire
