Job Summary
Coordinate patient care in the Emergency Department, performing head-to-toe assessments and triaging patients to ensure timely, appropriate treatment. Adjust nursing care processes based on physical and psychosocial needs, communicate status changes to physicians, and respond accurately to treatment responses. Evaluate outcomes and consult with specialists as required to maintain optimal patient care across pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. Manage pain assessments and educate patients and families on management techniques. Full-time position requiring two years of ED experience, current RN license, and ACLS/PALS certification within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years ED experience required
- Current RN license within the state of practice
- Current BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire
- PALS within six (6) months of hire
