Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department, performing head-to-toe assessments and managing pain for pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general populations. Utilize triage processes to assign categories and ensure timely care, while communicating with physicians and staff regarding patient condition changes. Adjust nursing care processes to optimize outcomes and respond quickly to clinical shifts. This dual clinical and managerial role includes participating in staff hiring. Requires two years of ED experience, a current RN license, BCLS, and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Years of ED Experience
- Current RN license within the state of practice
- Current BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire
- PALS within six (6) months of hire
