Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Emergency Department travel program across Ascension acute care hospitals. Provide direct nursing care following established policies; implement, monitor, and record patient care plans and conditions; coordinate multidisciplinary care and carry out physician and nursing orders; assess and manage discharge planning with the healthcare team. Requires RN licensure with compact state or appropriate state license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months, and an acute care RN background with at least one year of experience. Diploma in nursing and pediatric life support preferred. Schedule includes multiple shifts totaling 36-48 hours per week, with gross pay up to $2,358 per week; travel assignment options local and national.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Registered Nurse license (compact RN or state RN license depending on location)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
