Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in Emergency Department travel assignments across Ascension acute care hospitals. Implement, monitor, and record patient care plans; coordinate multidisciplinary care; and manage discharge planning with the healthcare team. Requires RN license (compact or state-specific), diploma in nursing, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months, and typically one year of acute care RN experience. Travel assignments cover local and national needs with 36-48 hours per week, and gross pay up to $2,358 per week.
Required Qualifications
- RN license/compact license
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
