Job Summary

Manage individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, and documentation in the Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department. Administer medications, verify patient identification, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Develop and communicate prioritized plans of care, facilitate discharge within 12 hours, and actively represent patient and family needs. Participate in the 12-week Transition to Practice program starting September 21, 2026, followed by a full-time evening shift from 3pm to 3:30am with 36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • RN - Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Emergency Response Training Certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
  • Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification
  • Previous Acute Care RN experience
  • Full time night shift 3pm - 3:30am
  • 36hrs week
  • rotating weekends and holidays
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
