Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department provides direct nursing care in the ED, performing comprehensive data collection, triage, and development of individualized care plans. Responsibilities include implementing and coordinating care, evaluating outcomes, effective communication, leadership in professional practice, and applying evidence-based knowledge to emergency nursing. The role requires adherence to departmental policies and the ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with occasional weekend and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in IL/MO/OK/WI per respective state requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) HealthCare Provider - American Heart Association
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association or equivalent per state (NRP/ENPC/PALS/ACLS/TNCC as applicable)
